In a future release I plan to update SDT so the default screens for each player will be initially created based on the Fahrenheit/Celsius setting. I hope this helps.I reviewed the code where the default screens are setup. SDT remembers the last screen you viewed and will show that screen the next time SDT is activated. You can add multiple custom screens that can be accessed using the up/down buttons on your remote. The default built-in SDT screens use Fahrenheit. There you will find the ability to make custom screens with whatever weather data you choose including metric values. You can also set long weather forecast text to display at preset intervals based on SDT settings under the advanced tab in LMS.įor a Squeezebox 3 you should look at the SuperDateTime (SDT) settings under the player tab in LMS. Long weather forecast text can be shown using the fast forward and rewind buttons anytime the SDT screensaver is active. The centigrade/Fahrenheit setting in the SDT Advanced settings page adjusts what is shown in the long weather forecast text. Any advice on how to make the settings stick to Metric system? For a Squeezebox 3 you should look at the SuperDateTime (SDT) settings under the player tab in LMS. ![]() ![]() I'm running this on a squeeze server on my QNAP NAS. But i did notice that regardless of me selecting the metric scale in the preferences or not, it keeps giving me imperial metrics (So Farenheit instead of Celsius, etc). As an owner of the Squeezebox 3 for quite many years and having run the "weatherdatetime" plugin for many of those years, i'm now using the superdatetime plugin as the replacement (as the older one is no longer supported).
